Stickmen Junior's Add Big
Names Behind Bench

Stickmen Junior 'A' Head Coach, Curtis Gulliford, announced his coaching staff this week that have impressive resumes today. Helping out Curtis behind the bench will be Kyle Goundrey, Chad Miller and David Blatherwick.

Kyle Goundrey, a former Surrey Stickmen player himself, currently plays for the Calgary Roughnecks of the NLL where he's one of Calgary's top scoring forwards.

Chad Miller, a goalie formerly with the Vancouver Ravens of the NLL and Maple Ridge Burrards of the WLA, will bring some great support for the Stickmen goal tenders this year.

David Blatherwick brings a long list of player achievements himself. As a former New Westminster Salmonbellie he was drafted by the Maple Ridge Burrards of the WLA where he played a couple of seasons before finishing off his career with the Fraser Valley Rebels.

Dane returns for his final Junior year where he hopes to continue where he left off last year and lead the team in points this year.

Dane has a long list of accomplishments in lacrosse. He received a scholarship to University of Bellarmine where he played for their field lacrosse team.

Other accomplishments include playing for Team BC in field lacrosse as well as winning a Best Player Award in Midget for graduating Midget players.

Throughout his minor lacrosse he has been on teams that have success including winning the Nationals in Bantam. In Intermediate lacrosse he was top ten in scoring for both seasons.
