Stickmen Junior's Start
Season Against Nanaimo
The Stickmen Junior 'A's will start their
2007 season this Saturday night when the Nanaimo Timbermen
roll into town. Nanaimo was one of only two victories for
the Stickmen last year while the Timbermen's only wins of
the year came at Surrey's expense.
This year the Stickmen have bolstered their
lineup with off season acquisition Kyle Starchuk. Dane Eitel,
Dave Johnson, John Ballantine are returning players ready
to step up to excel this year.
New Head Coach Curtis Gulliford and staff
plan to use the youth and speed of the Stickmen to their
advantage this year and fans can expect a fast paced game.
Returning in net is third year goalie Codey
Lewis and second year player Brandon Smith, argueably the
best tandem between the pipes in the Junior 'A' league.
